Your credentials never reach Sika
When you connect a bank account, you authenticate directly with Plaid, the same infrastructure used by Venmo, Robinhood, and 8,000+ other apps. Sika only receives the data Plaid sends: your account name, balance, and transaction history.
Read-only access, always
Sika's Plaid integration is configured for read-only access. It is technically impossible for Sika to initiate a payment, transfer money, or modify anything in your bank account.
Encrypted at rest and in transit
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256-GCM. Your financial data is stored in Supabase on infrastructure that meets SOC 2 Type II standards.
Delete everything, any time
Disconnect a bank from within the app and all associated transaction and balance data is removed from our systems immediately. Delete your account and all personal data is purged within 30 days.
Your data is never sold
Your financial data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose beyond powering your Sika experience. We have no advertising business. Our only revenue is Sika Premium subscriptions.
